Southland Community Church held its first service on May 3, 2009 in the chapel of Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home in Greenwood with 193 people in attendance. Having outgrown the chapel on our very first Sunday we moved, three weeks later, to Sugar Grove Elementary school. On September 13, 2009 we held our official launch at the Center Grove Middle School Central. Then, on August 15, 2010 we held our first service in our current location at 5800 W. Smith Valley Rd., Greenwood.
Every Sunday morning we meet to worship God and to see and hear a relevant and powerful message, teaching Biblical truths. We are deeply committed and passionate about sharing the love of Christ by caring for each other and positively impacting our community.
