…a first Sunday, and we remember what it's like. So we've provided the
information below, knowing that it's easier to walk into a new place when you
know what to expect.
At Southland, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds and of all
ages, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. Southland is an
intergenerational church offering opportunities for every stage of life both
physically and spiritually. Our vision is for Southland to be and make growing
followers of Jesus Christ and to share His love with our community and our
world.
Our worship services blend the comfort and familiarity of traditional worship with
the excitement of a modern worship service through both instrumental and vocal
music. A wide variety of singers, instruments and small groups lead us in
worship and praise to God.
Each service lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes. Near the beginning, the
pastor will encourage you to greet the people sitting around you, but no one will
single you out as a visitor. Also, we don't expect our visitors to give, but please
take a moment to complete the Tell Us About You card on the bulletin and drop it
in one of the offering boxes.
By the way, come as you are! Southland is a comfortable environment to
encounter God and His people in a relevant, engaging way.
When Do We Meet?
Sunday mornings at 9 & 11.
Where Do We Meet?
We meet at the church, 5800 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood, 46142. For directions, please

Where Do My Kids Go?
At Southland, we LOVE kids! That's why we've made it a priority to provide high
quality, high energy, and FUN programming for children from birth through fifth
grade on Sunday mornings.
Southland Community Church offers a fully staffed, safe and fun nursery for
newborn to 36-months of age.
Our preschool program promises a fun and deep learning experience for your
child.
Southland offers a place where children from first through fifth grade can
discover and develop a passion for God. Every Sunday, children are exposed to
God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.
If you prefer to keep your children in the adult worship service with you, please
feel free to do so.
Can I Meet the Pastor?
Absolutely! Pastors Steve and Jim love to meet new people! After Sunday and
services they regularly greet our guests. In fact, they have a special gift waiting
just for you. So please introduce yourself after the service.
