Nursery
Southland Community Church offers a fully staffed, safe and fun nursery for children newborn to 36-months. Our rooms are fully staffed with caring individuals who have volunteered for our nursery. This means that every individual in the nursery wants to be there to care for your child. Also, all volunteers have passed a limited criminal history check. We have a tag system for security that ensures no one but you can check your child out of the nursery.
Preschool
The preschool program at Southland Community Church will be a fun and deep learning experience for your child. Our energetic volunteers provide age-appropriate activities for your children that help them learn about God, the Bible and Jesus’ love for each of them. At the age of three your child will begin memorizing scriptures and learn the foundation of salvation, “For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son” —John 3:16.
Southland also provides weekly update pages for parents to take home that provides the memory verse, bible lesson, devotional questions for the week and teachable lesson/moments for use in the home.
Special Needs
Southland Community Church is equipped and willing to care for and include families who may have children with special needs. We believe that all of God’s children need to experience His love, hear His word and know Him.
Our ministry volunteers consist of experienced special needs workers from our congregation and those who have a desire to serve Christ and a heart for God’s exceptional children.
