Idols...we think those are for ancient or Eastern religions. No rational Western thinker would ever think about worshipping an idol, right? Think again. Anything that we put before God is, in fact, an idol. So many things can compete for our affections. How do we win the competition for our heart and keep God as the main priority in our life? March 8 | The Challenge

It can be easy to say we trust God to save us, redeem us and give us eternal life forever. We trust Him with our eternal destiny but we often have trouble trusting Him with today. The challenge is to stay balanced in what we want and at the same time trust God for what we truly need. The way to put God first and reflect His generosity is to be content and trust Him.
