Real Life Stories.

Some of the best lessons about our real lives are learned through stories. When Jesus walked the earth, He told a lot of stories to teach people about how to view and live in a complex and broken world. In these stories He both challenged and encouraged those listening. Those stories are still relevant for those of us who want to pay attention to His wisdom and authority.

August 16th | Wise And Foolish Builders | Luke 6:46-49

What do you build your real life upon? Your worldview and foundational principles have everything to do with the quality of your life. Have you ever thought about your core values and the non-negotiable morals and ethics you absolutely will not compromise in all areas of your daily experience? In our real lives we can sometimes be inconvenienced by the needs of others. Will I see taking time to help them as an opportunity or a situation to avoid? August 30th | Friend At Midnight | Luke 11:5-13

All of us are designed and created by God to connect with Him. He offers us a tremendous gift to help accomplish this connection: prayer. September 6th | Prodigal Son | Luke 15:11-32

God cares deeply for those who are far from Him. Maybe that's you. Maybe that's someone you know. Either way, Jesus tells a story about a boy who decides he's ready for his real life to start and runs away from his Father and everything He believes in.
