The kingdoms of this world make a lot of promises they can’t keep. We tend to build our lives on those empty promises. Jesus taught to build your life on an eternal foundation. What is that foundation and how do I build upon it? To prepare, read the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders in Matthew 7:24-27.

Jesus taught about teachability. People are like soil, they receive the seeds of truth differently. We can choose to be good dirt and receive what God has to tell us about His Kingdom. Also, we can either reject it outright or allow enemies of faith to distract us from what’s good for us. So, how teachable are you? Are you good dirt? To prepare, read the Parable of the Soils in Matthew 13:3-23.

Have you allowed your spiritual enemy to plant weeds in your life that suck the life out of your passion for God’s Kingdom? To prepare, read the Parable of the Weeds in Matthew 13:24-43.
