As we continue to follow our theme for 2026, All In, we must consider the toughest teachings of Jesus. To be all in, we agree that He can be trusted, even with the most challenging lessons He presents. Will I only identify as Christian, or will I fully surrender my will to the leadership of Jesus?

July 5th | Take Up Your Cross | Mark 8:34-38

We want our faith to be easy, comfortable, even profitable. Some might think following Jesus should guarantee a life full of emotional, relational and even material blessing. Jesus tells a completely different story to prepare us for the honor of suffering for His glory. To prepare, read Mark 8:34-38.

July 12th | Last Shall Be First | Mark 9:33-35

People like to win. Life can sometimes seem like a competition and getting what we want is often accomplished at the expense of others. Some of Jesus' disciples thought they would have the best positions in His new kingdom. Jesus taught true followers want what is best for others. To prepare, read Mark 9:33-35.

July 19th | Sell Everything And Give To The Poor | Mark 10:17-23

Jesus wanted His followers to understand that true fulfillment is found in His calling not in the accumulation of more wealth and status. When a wealthy young man asked Him how to attain eternal life, Jesus told him to get rid of His earthly wealth and follow Him. How does that work in our generation? To prepare, read Mark 10:17-23.
